They are facing potential incarceration for helping migrants in danger in the French Alps. Bastien, Benoit, Eléonora, Juan, Lisa, Mathieu et Théo will face justice on November 8th in Gap.
They are prosecuted for «helping undocument foreign nationals to enter national territory, in organized gang”. The envisaged penalty is 10 years in prison and 750.000 euros fine. What should they amend for ? Being involved in a march against the far-right, little band called «Bloc identitaire», which was obstructing the border the border so as to retaliate against migrants trying to cross it.
Even though the notion of «organized gang” was meant to tackle organized crime, it is now being used against volunteers involved in the NGO’s Tous migrants and, as for two of them, La Cimade. More generally, this provision is now being misused as a tool to intimidate citizens who show solidarity with migrants trying to cross the French Alps.
The prosecutor’s office has, hence, chosen to prosecute pacifist activists while enabling the far-right activists of “Bloc Identitaire” to evade punishment, as they didn’t face any charges.
Echoing a recent French Constitutional Court’s ruling, which enshrined the principle of fraternity as a constitutional principle, we are calling for the dropping of all charges against Bastien, Benoit, Eléonora, Juan, Lisa, Mathieu, and the end of any prosecution against them.
Solidarity with the «7 of Briançon»! We all stand against the “crime of solidarity”! We are all criminals for being solidary in “organized band”!
In the night from Sunday to Monday, the BIG (Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft) was attacked with fire and paint. They are responsible for the construction of the prison in Puch.
We attacked the Hypobank with paint. It’s a symbol for the politics of corruption and speculation of ÖVP and FPÖ.
We smashed the windows of the State Departement of Finances and attacked it with stinking bombs, because we are attacking the state.
In Salzburg, on September 16th, because the austrian governement is carrying out an EU summitmeeting a few days later to implement more restrictive practices of surveillance and control, especially against migrants.
We don’t care for the demonstration against the summit, where participants will be filmed, surveilled and criminalized. We don’t play by the rules of the rulers.
The guitarist for ‘Queensbury Rules’ (a ‘Blood & Honor’ band) had his car sabotaged in the early hours of the 7th of August.
Wojciech (Woj) Wasilewski, a known fascist had all 4 tyres of his car punctured, the bodywork scratched and a message sprayed which reads: “Woj = Fascist” and on the otherside: “[heart symbol] ANNA YPG”.
The car was parked on Trinity St (New Town) St Philips, sometimes parked on Hassell Drive, both near Trinity Police Station, Bristol. The car is a red Hyundai, reg: EA60TWX
Woj and his Polish friends live above ‘Skin Deep’, a tattooist shop on Old Market (close to where the car was parked). The shop is run by ‘Ozzie’, an old National Fronter from Kingswood, Bristol.
Woj has been seen in a ‘Queensbury Rules’ T-shirt with “Pie and Mash” printed on the back (cockney slang for ‘fash’). It also had the slogan: “Five little words” which means “We go where we want”. But the reality is they don’t, their gigs are very secretive and so we decided to go below the belt and kick him in the bollocks.
There is graffiti near Woj’s flat, which is separate from this attack, that also mentions Anna Cambell: “When you fight fascism, the rules of engagement should be of your own making”
Take ’em on the blind side cell.
Hey Walker, we recently had a nice view of your home from the pedestrian bridge in the small hours of the morning…
… a car and work van belonging to a UKIP candidate and ex-mayor (2012) of Bradley Stoke (Bristol, UK), Ben Walker, was damaged with paint and the tires were slashed on the driveway of his home: 136 Ferndene, Bradley Stoke, Bristol.
Also done recently…
…cars at Bath Audi and Mercedes car showrooms in Peasedown, Bath (UK) had their bodywork scratched up with broken glass (about 25 vehicles). This option of sabotage was chosen over a noisy one as we didn’t want to wake the sleeping car-transporter guy who was in his cab with the curtains drawn.
With this action a warm firm hand goes out to the street fighters and black bloc who came together to trash the G20 in Hamburg, with bravery against such heavy odds, and to those spreading this fight over other German cities. Some of us are not up to the level of street combat of German cities or to go and engage with your cops, so here in the UK a few of us have been lubricating our rusty joints enough to be able to be active and show our distaste in a style we are more familiar with.
Although we may have different approaches to the same problems, we can pull together on a common thread, learn from each others qualities and mis-givings, and unite the effects of bloc and affinity group.
In the UK, through sabotage, we are trying to show others here that there is a positive path to take anger along while also putting a kick into the ribs of our pigs already low morale.
“All modern war-fighters know that the first step of any conflict is to disrupt the enemy’s communication and control infrastructures” – Adbusters planetary engame (May/June 2017)
In the early morning between june 20th and 21th, the Santander bank office of Ciudad Universitaria (Universitary City) in Madrid, was torched. We don’t need an international financial summit to hate and attack the Capitalism and its enterprises. We want with this action send all our strength and solidarity to the people that are suffering the repression for acting against the last G20 in Hamburg.
The last G7 was held in La Malbaie, in Quebec, the 8th and 9th of June 2018 in the Charlevoix castle. If the entire area was super secured, which we don’t doubt, power also took care to reinforce its critical infrastructures, including cell phone network coverage (with a $15M contract with Bell for the installation of 13 cell phone relays), but also the installation of the fiber optic cable in this depopulate and slightly preserved zone of La Malbaie (with a $6M contract with Bell), so that the heads of state can enjoy high speed internet during the summit.
Anyway, everything was supposed to go fine on this side, and yet… and yet a fire overcame during the G7 against a fiber optic cable “making certain communications along route 138 leading to Charlevoix impossible,” according to a local paper. “The outage has affected the wireless service of Telus Mobilite and Bell Mobilitie between Beauport and Baie-Saint-Paul following a cutting of the fiber. Twelve wireless sites were affected by the outage.” The Integrated Network of Multimedia Telecommunications of the Quebec government (RITM), that allows the sharing of services and information between public organizations throughout Quebec, was also affected in Baie-Saint-Paul, as well as the ministry of transportation, durable mobility, and the electrification of transports. The damages were such that a plan B had to be activated during the G7: a solution of rerouting, via the deployment of a new fiber.
Of course, because it must not be blabbed too loudly, and show the vulnerability of the mechanisms always within reach of audacious hands, the state speaks of an accident. All the same the odds are incredible, the type of crucial fiber optic catches fire alone in the middle of the G7 in the red zone, a fiber optic made of glass or plastic, who’s properties do not tend toward spontaneous combustion. Whatever they say, hypothesis for hypothesis, we prefer to think that it is either a divine fire, or an anonymous hand angered by this summit of the powerful that is the origin of this fire. And since God does not exist…
Unknown persons destroyed the windows of the russian visacenter in Kanalstr. 14a, Hamburg, the night of the 22.06. Also “FUCK FIFA!”, “FIGHT REPRESSION!” and”(A)” was spraypainted on the fassade.
Since autumn 2017 there are repressive attacks against anarchists in different russian cities, in Belarus and in the Crimea. With torture, intimidation, blackmail and imprisonment they are targeted.
At the same time the football worldcup as one of the biggest spectacles of power is happening in Russia. The rich can enrich themselves even more and behind the cameras, all this, as with the Olympic games or summit-meetings, can be used to develope repression and control against marginalised, poor and unwanted social groups and to develope aggressive gentrification.
Amidst the early morning fog on the 22nd of June we immobilized and sprayed up multiple pieces of heavy construction equipment along US 220 in North Carolina. An excavator, a bulldozer, and a number of front loaders all tasted exquisite venom, by way of maple syrup and bleach. Fire extinguishers on-site were also rendered useless.
This tiny act of attack was taken against the proposed construction of the Mountain Valley Pipeline Southgate, as well as the destruction of numerous acres of forest in the clearing of the new I-840 corridor.
For the defense of Nature from Capital and civilization
For attacking the instruments of ecological annihilation
Since some anarcho-cells in Kiev have started burning cars, we decided to join this activity (video)
On May 21, 2018, we set off the mid-size Lexus RX crossover. It stood near a multi-storey building at the address: Kiev, Artillery Lane, 9a. The fire also damaged the nearby SUV Mitsubishi Pajero.
As it turned out, Lexus belonged to the Deputy Chairman of the European Party of Ukraine, Sergei Grachev. On the official website of the EPU there was a statement about the arson of the car. This is bingo!
Sergei Grachev – a politician, a liberal and just a scoundrel, to put it mildly. We dislike his way of life and his party. As anarchists we stand on the positions of self-government and social equality. We do not divide politicians on the pro-government and the opposition. For us, they are all enemies and traitors. Each of them deserves absolutely fair hatred and retribution.
According to the owner of Lexus, his neighbors woke him up and reported that his car was burning. He tried to extinguish the car on own with the help of a fire extinguisher, but to no avail. It’s nice to realize that fire extinguishers cannot extinguish take anarchist napalm.
As reported by the State Emergency Service, the call for fire came at 2:19, and the fire was extinguished at 2:43. This time the firemen worked extremely quickly.
About the arson itself we will not talk much – everything can be seen on the video and photos. We can only advise you to use thick napalm without gasoline for arson on protected sites or near large residential complexes. The liquid starts burning gradually, without clapping or flashing, without disturbing sleeping guards, dogs, tenants and your eyesight.
PS. Recently, on the Lysaya Hill in Kiev, nationalists burned the tents of the Roma. You have to be an absolute scum to destroy the huts of beggars and vagabonds! We call upon the young radicals, who have not completely lost their mind, to join the arson of the property of the rich and powerful.
Dear international anarchist thugs, illegalists, casseurs, and defenders of wildness,
we are reporting live from Philadelphia. An attack has just been made, throwing a wrench in the cogs of the machinery of progress… well more literally some wires were cut and windows smashed on one of their bullshit bulldozers.
We have word that this attack was done in solidarity with the ZAD and Camp White Pine (hi!) both of which are facing their own local bullshit bulldozers. The attackers have also sent rebel greetings to area anarchists who’ve been keeping it live (and especially those who share the specifics of their attacks to allow others to reproduce them).
Fuck work Fuck progress
Signing off for now, Team Illegal
Contra Info note: Sunoco workers cut down trees used by Camp White Pine in their ongoing resistance to construction of the Mariner East 2 pipeline (Pennsylvania, USA).
Yesterday, on World Afrin Day, a memorial for the cooperation between NATO and Russia was tarred and feathered in Reykjavík, Iceland. The memorial has, since 2002, disgraced the city’s face — a constant reminder of Iceland’s humiliating submission to superpowers and military alliances. With the silent approval of Russia and NATO, Turkey now attempts to crush the Rojava revolution with full force — killing and displacing men, women and children. To no-one’s surprise, objections on behalf of a handful of Western states have been both weak and hollow, as they obviously care more for their friendship and liaison with fascist Erdogan than the just and egalitarian society he currently attempts to bring down. Their cowardice and spinelessness will put them and us to everlasting shame. A memorial for the very cooperation which allows Erdogan to trespass and murder should have no secure place — neither here nor anywhere else.
Anarchist Iconoclasts, Comrades of Haukur Hilmarsson (Sahin Hosseini)
More arrests: In the Crimea, special services detained a local anarchist and social activist Yevgeny Karakashev (02/02). In Moscow, an anarchist Elena Gorban was arrested (13/02). On the same day, anarchist Alexei Kobaidze was detained and arrested. We are calling upon everybody to continue the solidarity campaign!
On February 5-12, an international week of solidarity with Russian anarchists took place. 21 actions against repression were joined by 21 Russian cities and a large number of foreign comrades, from Belarus to the US and Canada.
Information materials, leaflets, graffiti and stencils were distributed, banners were posted informing about repressions against anarchists.
Actions were held in Kaliningrad, Altai, Kursk, Novosibirsk, Samara, Kemerovo, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Izhevsk, Penza, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nakhodka, Chelyabinsk and Vorkuta.
Pickets informing about the terror of the FSB against anarchists wer held in Yekaterinburg, Kandalaksha, Tomsk, Sochi, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Saratov.
In Samara, an evening of solidarity was organized. Visitors were told about repressions against anarchists and about the basic rules of conspiracy. After that, the film “Sacco and Vanzetti” was shown, the story of these people clearly demonstrates all the inhumanity and uselesness of the state system and the methods that it has used, to this day, to suppress any protests.
In Moscow, an unauthorized march of anarchists against the lawlessness of the FSB also took place. Several dozen people blocked Myasnitskaya – one of the central streets adjacent to the Lubyanka, where the main FSB department is located. They passed along it with the banner “FSB is the main terrorist.”
Solidarity actions were also held in other countries.
In Belarus, anarchists distributed leaflets informing about then persecution of Russian anarchists.
In Lutsk, Ukraine, there were also grafitti in solidarity with Russian anarchists.
Actions of solidarity took place in Warsaw, Gdansk (Poland) and Prague (Czech Republic).
In Prague, Czech Republic, a concert was held in support of repressed Russian anarchists. At the concert information was spread about repressions in Russia and money was raised for the Anarchist Blac Cross, which provides assistance to political prisoners. Also fundraising was carried out in Estonia at concerts of musical groups Ognemöt, Adrestia and Prophets V in Tallinn and Tartu.
Also, an event to inform about repression in Russia and fund-raising was held in Budapest, Hungary.
In France, a solidarity dinner was held, the funds from which were directed to support the Russian anarchists.
Also, many solidarity events took place in the United States. So, in Minneapolis there was an evening of solidarity, in Brooklyn – a film show. Antifascist online store from Portland spread information about repression and raised money to support the repressed anarchists. In Kansas, a street demonstration was held in support of Russian anarchists. In New York, a picket took place at the Russian consulate.
Also, representatives of the Revolutionary Abolitionist movement from New York expressed solidarity.
Solidarity action was held in Toronto, Canada. Anarchists held a picket on the most crowded square in the city, informing passers-by about repressions in Russia.
The week of solidarity was held in solidarity with Russian anarchists, subjected to repression by the FSB. In the fall of 2017, the FSB arrested six anarchists from Penza. The reason for the arrest was that all the six played airsoft, which was regarded by the secret services as a training for the overthrow of state power. Weapons were implanted to the detainees, they were accused of organizing a terrorist community.
For months, the detainees were daily tortured and beaten until they agreed to slander themselves. They were hung upside down, beaten, tortured with electric shockers. In January 2018, several anarchists were kidnapped in St. Petersburg. Two suspects and one witness were seized, all of them were tortured. One of the detainees for this purpose was taken to the forest near the city. Another detainee was tortured for more than a day. Only officially the interrogation lasted a day – from three o’clock in the morning until three o’clock in the morning.
Although one of the suspects and the witness made a statement about the torture, their statements were not checked by the state authorities.
The FSB is announcing plans for arrests on the fabricated case of a terrorist group of two dozen anarchists in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Penza and Belarus.
Also in the Crimea, special services detained a local anarchist and social activist Yevgeny Karakashev. The reason for the detention is the active participation of Eugene in the social struggle of the inhabitants of the peninsula. On the day of the arrest, the Mayor of Evpatoria met with protesters against point-building and made a hint about possible arrests. The reason for the arrest was Yevgeny’s correspondence in a group chat in social networks.
Immediately after the end of the week of actions in support of Russian anarchists, repressions were continued in Moscow. On February 13, early in the morning, an anarchist Elena Gorban was arrested. In violation of all norms, the lawyer was not admitted to Elena for several hours until she agreed to admit guilt in the pogrom of the office of the ruling Russian party, “United Russia”. On the same day, anarchist Alexei Kobaidze was detained and arrested for the same charge. The reason for the arrests was an unauthorized demonstration in Moscow against the FSB terror. Early in the morning, before the appearance of information in the media and the Internet about the arrests of anarchists, the pro-government telegram channels published a video of detention and a message that anarchists taking part in the demonstration had been detained in Moscow. The investigators who questioned Elena also ask her about the demonstration although the detainees were charged with the pogrom of United Russia, and not participation in the demonstration.
After the arrest, actions of solidarity were continued in Russia. In Chelyabinsk, anarchists placed a banner near the FSB building and threw a smoke bomb to its territory. And in the suburbs of Moscow a mobilising raid was held in solidarity with the repressed anarchists.
We are calling upon everybody to continue the solidarity campaign!
A small video on various attacks by anarchists in Belarus, Ukraine and Russia (BUR) from 2008 to 2017. By attacks we mean destruction or damage to enemy property – buildings, premises, cars, construction equipment, objects, etc.
Those are not just words: we reached the “level” of direct action and they lie about us because they fear us. Not everything that happens hits the system’s newspapers! Even ours! And everything runs really fast, comrades. Revolutionary vertigo, which shakes up the heart: it was what we wanted and finally what we’ve got. Let’s not flatter ourselves. As our beutiful comrades from Portugal warn us, let’s be intelligent: neither “library anarchism” nor “self destructive punk”, fine? We don’t make up anything. We met el Lechu and better listen to us very well those who now claim he is a public figure… He is, to say, one of us: ANARCHIST! Enemy of the state, the capital and the shitty “social peace” of those who now (…and may a lightning fall in the head of those who call him “ayahuasca junkie”) whip his missing doing politics with our ideals. We are not “infiltrated”, as those people conniving with the spectacle cluck every time it burns passion for the anarchic revolt.
In August 31, the building of GEOF was torched… the “anti terrorist” Federal Operations Special Group building in the middle of the burgeosie neighborhood of Palermo… plenty Buenos Aires downtown, and the shitty media has hidden; they did the same thing with a lot of offensives that, did not even go through their heads, could strike their power structures.
After the demonstration, on September 1, the 35th Gendarmerie Battalion was almost torched with Molotovs (were they “infiltrated”, too?).
In La Plata, we torched a part of the senate, and then there was an attack on the security ministry, with a wounded gendarme and burned cars, with no arrests.
After the demo in Buenos Aires, where 31 people were arrested, without even being at the barricade of Avenida de Mayo, the media again said that everything was calm until about twenty hooded ones attacked the government building and were, by little, near to burn his filthy office.
It did not end there: the headquarters of the gendarmerie were destroyed in a coordinated action of great risk and great bravery…
We can not fail to mention the repression in Cordoba! Police officers entered several anarchist spaces (information about that are circulating in the networks), in the provincial capital, and took drums and banners.
The fascist newspaper “La Nación” now aims at the former FLA (Argentinean anarchist federation), which has now become an anarchist cultural center, let us stay alert… If they touch one @, they touch all @ and even if the repression become stronger, we will make their worst nightmares turn into reality.
We thank the Contra Info for its work and also to all those who (everywhere) support our struggle until death against all authority.
M@K (i), Anarchic. Kosmic. informal Movement
SANTIAGO ALWAYS PRESENT, WAR AGAINST THE KILLER STATE. WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP. WE WILL DESTROY YOUR SYSTEM!!! AND MAY THE FEAR DISSOLVE: ANARCHY, ANARCHY NOW!!!
translated by tormentas de fogo
Translators note: This made us give a smile of complicity to our comrades fighting in the territory under domain of the argentinian state. This one text is claiming responsibility of some actoins on the agitation month for Santiago Maldonado. It has also a statement about some lies thrown against them by the masses. For example, in august 1st demos they were accused of being “infiltrated” just because they chose to disrupt normality instead of behave peacefully. This is what happens when the state attacks us. We hit them back with all our strength!!! WE WANT OUR COMRADE BACK NOW!!!
On the website “Linksunten”, one can find a anonymous note that a car of a private security company called “Personen-Objekt-Werkschutz GmbH” has been set on fire in the night of the 3rd of August.
Whoever posted this, whoever committed this act, didn`t have too much to say about this action, and this is good.
The burning of a car of these filthy private cops stands for itself. It is good news for all those who seek to attack this shitty system of exploitation and domination and, as it said in the post on the website, a warm and angry sign of solidarity to those held captive in the prisons of Hamburg, accused of having taken part in the revolt against the G20 summit in the beginning of July.
In mid-July 2016, a cell tower was set on fire in Zurich, sabotaging the city for several days (causing 100 000 francs of damages). This cell-tower was used as an emergency radio antenna for the city police of Zurich, an essential infrastructure, guaranteeing both its internal communication and contributing to maintain its control and authority externally.
The day after this sabotage, the police carried out different house searches in different swiss cities. According to the warrants, an “a person specifically suspected” was being searched, because “some objects which personally belonged to him had been found”. However the cops left the houses with empty hands. Since then, the internationally searched individual, an anarchist comrade, is not to be found.
With the present pamphlet, Radio Silence, we have wanted to assemble in chronological order different articles already published about the above-mentioned situation, which are for the most part taken from the anarchist newspaper Dissonanz from Zurich. During these intense times and with the over-saturation of information that has been given to us, it is not rare that radical events are re-absorbed by the rhythm of the times. Radio Silence intends to make us stop for a moment, to avoid the omnipresent flux of different facts, and to look back, understand, reflect.
Click here to download the cover, and here for the English pdf of the pamphlet Funktstille.
We perceive anarchist and antiauthoritarian spaces as structures in which we organize struggles and live collective moments outside the authoritarian relations that the State and capitalism would like to impose on us daily.
Lately, the State has carried out various attacks against squats and hangouts in Athens, Thessaloniki, Agrinio and Larissa.
In response to these attacks, during the night of 11th to 12th June 2017, we placed an incendiary device in a van belonging to AKTOR company on Makedonikis Amynis Street in Thessaloniki.
We know that this company constructs the enemy’s structures, such as the Skouries mine in the Halkidiki Peninsula, that destroys the earth for the benefit of capitalists, or the Thessaloniki metro, intended to support and strengthen the flow of capital.
We chose June 11th, international day of solidarity with anarchist prisoners facing long sentences, to express our solidarity with all captive comrades worldwide.
The night between the 24th and 25th March 2017, after months of preparation, we jumped over the fence in the premises of the Cavalry Unit of the National Police in Madrid and placed an incendiary device under one of their off-road vehicles.
We carried out this action against the G20 summit and we dedicate it to all anarchist prisoners.
On Monday night, May 22nd 2017, a group of comrades attacked the Ministry of Culture in Exarchia with Molotov cocktails. We carried out this symbolic action for two reasons:
To honor the memory of Mauricio Morales, who lost his life on May 22nd 2009 in Santiago, Chile, when the bomb he was carrying to strike the jailers academy exploded prematurely.
To send strength to the anarchist Eric King, who is serving a 10-year sentence in the US for attacking a government building with Molotov cocktails in Kansas City in September 2014. We support the international call in solidarity with Eric on June 28th.
A few nights ago we sabotaged about 50 parking meters by gluing their locks, coin slots, and card readers. This was a simple act which took no specialized skill. Get some superglue, cover your face, keep your eyes peeled for cops or loyal citizens, and act.
These parking meters were targeted because they fund the Bloomington Police Department and because they force people to pay to be downtown. We hate the police and we hate gentrification and class society, so we chose to attack them.
We act as a gesture of combative memory for Lambros Foundas, anarchist of Revolutionary Struggle killed by the forces of the Greek state on March 10, 2010. Our memory is not one of passive mourning or martyrdom, but of active struggle against the state, capital, and domination in all of its forms. The flame of Lambros’ life kept us warm as we walked through the winter night, and we will carry that flame with us in all parts of our lives, which are lived at war with this society of masters and slaves.
We send strength to all anarchist combatants held captive in the dungeons of the Greek state.
We send solidarity to all those facing the state’s latest attacks against squatters, anarchists, and refugees: we are inspired by your refusal to be paralyzed.
It is important to announce one week before the opening of HMP Berwyn that two of the houseblocks in the prison are structurally unsound due to sabotage in 2015.
After our action in May 2015 where machinery was sabotaged, we knew that to regularly attempt to attack the prison would be impossible due to the prison walls being built around the site. After intensive research, it soon became apparent that we could have a dramatic effect with little effort.
In July 2015, a strong acidic powder was poured into the excavations of the groundfloor slabs of two of the prisons’s houseblocks. This has made two of these buildings structurally unsound – their foundations will eventually crumble and the buildings could collapse over time.
Given that the strength of these slabs has been greatly reduced, intrusive investigations and a full re-build of these houseblocks would be necessary before attempting to cage people in these buildings.
This action is dedicated to every human being that has died in the prison system at the hands of the State.
Ericsson repeater sabotaged in Genoa in solidarity with Greece’s prisoners Pola Roupa and Konstantina Athanasopoulou and the prisoners of operation Scripta Manent. Against the State. Against technology. Against armchair anarchists.
On Saturday night, January 28th 2017, we struck the Ministry of Culture in Exarchia with Molotov cocktails. It was a small symbolic attack to remind all fascists and militarists everywhere that we don’t give a shit about national ideals. We spit on your national emblems, your uniforms, your borders and the graves you make for your slaughters.
On Saturday January 21st 2017, we paint-bombed the regional jail in Bern in a complete denial of all prisons. On the way back from our action, a cop van made the mistake of pursuing us and had to retreat after our determined intervention. This action was taken in solidarity with the global action day for trans prisoners and the call for support of the group Revolutionary Struggle in Greece.
January 22nd marks the second annual global Trans Prisoner Day of Action and Solidarity. Scrutinizing glances, abomination, isolation, harassment and sexualized violence are double for trans persons in prisons, owing to the physical and emotional restraints of the literal cage that leaves them no way out. This event is organized at worldwide level by trans prisoners and their supporters. It enables those on the outside to remember those behind bars, show solidarity and increase awareness about issues faced by trans prisoners. It also enables those on the inside to raise their voice and organize together.
A global day of action in solidarity with the prisoners of Revolutionary Struggle was called for January 21st. No matter how strongly the authorities may believe that by imprisoning anarchists they can eliminate the (armed) struggle, they’re wrong. In complete complicity, whether inside or outside prison walls, we stand for a world free of domination. In doing so, we do not hope for leftist parties such as Syriza, that’s only interested in social pacification, and has yet again revealed its true face through the arrest of Pola Roupa and her son, as well as with its treatment of anarchist prisoners.
Solidarity with all anarchists and other political prisoners, who’ve been kidnapped and incarcerated.
