In the early hours of December 2nd 2016, on the corner of Akadimias and Themistokleous St. a bulldozer at the service of DEI electricity company couldn’t take it anymore and decided to give an end to its automatized routine. Before its self-immolation the poor machine reportedly said:
“Solidarity with the comrades Siao, Hodey and Maya, recently arrested in Germany for defending the Hambach forest!
Strength to the anarchist Natalia Collado, imprisoned in Chile because she liberated a Transantiago bus with fire!”
Arson of vehicles in the early hours of Sunday 22nd May:
We decided to attack the vicinity of the National Institute of Migration as a way of remembering the comrade Mauricio Morales, and what better way to do it than to extend the conflict and remind them that attacks won’t stop even after a comrade’s death or the incarceration of so many others that left dialogue and fear behind, and decided to attack directly and roundly the system of domination; we also claim responsibility for the attack as a show of solidarity with the comrade Natalia Collado and Javier Pino [both imprisoned in Chile, and recently convicted in court], who are about to receive their sentence.
Two of the demands put forward by anarchists Nataly Casanova, Juan Flores and Guillermo Durán, who are on hunger strike since the 13th/14th of April, have been achieved:
– Nataly Casanova was transferred into the 2nd wing of the San Miguel prison – where also comrade Tato (Natalia Collado) is being held – and receives visits twice a week. Unsurprisingly, the gendarmerie (Chilean prison service) stated that this had nothing to do with the hunger strike and the reason why Nataly’s transfer did not take place earlier was to ensure she would not be together with Tamara Sol Farías Vergara in the same wing – seeupdate on transfer of Tamara Sol from San Miguel to the San Joaquin prison in Santiago.
The CAVJ/Anti-prison Collective Vuelo de Justicia report that, recently, Nataly Casanova demanded direct visits with Juan Flores, whom she’s not allowed seeing for months except in the same court hearings. The judges once again denied this request, in yet another attempt to suppress the relationship of affinity and love between the two comrades.
– On June 5th, Enrique Gúzman was released from the Santiago 1 prison and moved to total house arrest. Read all about it here.
11.05.15: Graffiti & flyer action in the inner-city suburbs of Melbourne for the anarchist comrades facing repression inside the dungeons of the Chilean state. Slogans sprayed for Nataly, Juan and Guillermo – on hunger strike since April 13th-14th – and for Tamara Sol Vergara and Natalia Tato Collado. Flyers pasted about the case of Tamara Sol Vergara and the hunger strike of Nataly, Juan & Guillermo.
(We would expatiate more, but the ability to put out this note and make our action visible is limited.)
Comrades in affinity:
Within the week of agitation for antiauthoritarian prisoners in all territories which is underway these days, and particularly tomorrow (17/4) is a call for solidarity with long-term prisoners, Natalia Collado and Tamara Sol Farías send all our love, support and rebelliousness, deciding to abstain from meals all day on Friday, April 17th.
We send all our strength and affection especially to Nataly Casanova, who is on hunger strike, seeking the end of her prison regime in isolation. Compañera, no prisoner is alone!
For total liberation; down with patriarchy and the techno-industrial society!
