The court date for the double robbery in Velventos (near Kozani) is set for November 29, 2013. Initially the proceeding was due to take place in the Court of Appeals in Athens. However, the location for the trial was recently transferred to the special courtroom inside Koridallos women’s prison, because the defendants Andreas-Dimitris Bourzoukos, Dimitris Politis, Nikos Romanos, Yannis Michailidis (known as the ‘4 of Kozani’), as well as Fivos Harisis and Argyris Ntalios (arrested in Nea Filadelfeia) are prosecuted under anti-terrorism law, for ‘robbery in the context of a criminal organization’ (Article 187A of the Greek Penal Code). The six comrades are charged with committing armed robbery as part of their alleged participation in the anarchist direct action group Conspiracy of Cells of Fire.
