On the dawn of March 1st, various fountains of A Coruña were dyed red in solidarity with over 50 prisoners in struggle against torture and maltreatment in Spain’s prisons. Besides that, we also painted the slogan PRISON=TORTURE, in order to break the walls of impunity that keep these modern centres of extermination hidden, and that make the constant abuse of authority invisible.
Since they put prisons far away where no one can see, we brought the prisoners’ blood closer, so as to splatter the clean consciences of citizens.
