Athens: Ali Mohammed Rasul released from children’s prison

After numerous solidarity interventions and legal aid, the 12-year-old immigrant Ali Mohammed Rasul who was arrested for scavenging through waste on October 5th and imprisoned in Amygdaleza juvenile detention centre, is finally released and has documents.

The next step is family reunification, as the boy’s parents are currently in Germany.
