Today, Monday, February 27th, our comrades Freddy Fuentevilla, Marcelo Villarroel and Juan Aliste continue their liquid hunger strike, and they are still held as a punishment in the maximum security section, a situation that will not change until they lay down their mobilization. In this context, our comrades have remarkably lost weight: Freddy has lost 5,400kg, Marcelo 7,400kg, and Juan 4kg.
Despite the physical deterioration, our comrades are in a good mood and firm in their conviction to keep on with their hunger strike as a way of struggle against prisons and to be present during the International Solidarity Days (19-29/2), which are held by supportive comrades from all over the world.
Finally, we make a call for continuous solidarity with our comrades, and ask you to disseminate the situation in which they are inside the dungeons of the Capital, to diffuse the permanent disobedience of their bodies and minds. We would also like to invite you to send bottles of water, oral rehydration salts or energy drinks on parcel days, Mondays and Wednesdays, outside the High Security Prison (Cárcel de Alta Seguridad).
While misery exists, there will be rebellion!
