In Veria, northern Greece, a direct action of great inspiration — attributed to residents of the city — took place against a PASOK MP of Imathia prefecture, namely Thanassis Gikonoglou of the ruling party. Unknown people, probably ‘indignados’ threw shit all over the MP’s private car. This way, his public image was damaged, rather than himself —he was apparently asleep at the time of the incident. The car was literally bathed with fresh shit.
