Belgium: Solidarity gathering in front of Namur prison, December 31st

In the evening of the 31st, a group of people demonstrated their solidarity towards all those incarcerated outside the prison in Namur [the capital of Wallonia]. Phrases such as “guard executioner” or “fire to the prisons” were inscribed on the walls of the jail. Fireworks as well as smoke bombs were fired, which didn’t fail to cause prisoners to react, warming the hearts of participants. The latter also yelled their thirst for freedom, shouting phrases like “Brick by brick, wall by wall… let’s destroy all prisons!”

Because a society that needs to lock up [individuals] is a prison in itself;
Because prison walls only exist for those that unrestrainedly believe in their freedom;
Let’s shatter the prison hell!
