According to a report on Indymedia Athens, comrades Yannis Michailidis and Dimitris Politis were arrested by police along with two other persons.
Arrest warrants had been issued against both comrades for alleged participation in the anarchist revolutionary organization Conspiracy of Cells of Fire.
The arrests were made in the morning of February 1st, 2013, and now the cops attempt to link the arrestees to two armed bank robberies in the wider area of Kozani (northern Greece).
All four hostages were severely beaten by the cops. In a corporate video from the courthouse in Kozani, comrades are heard shouting:
“Long live anarchy! Long live anarchy, you scumbags!”
“Long live anarchy! Cops, judges, politicians, you have no reason to sleep calm. We lost a battle but not the war! – Fuck off!”
