Germany: Solidarity with the social rebellion in Greece

Α spontaneous call for protest gatherings in front of cities’ main train stations, starting from February 13th, at 8pm German time (freely translated)
Let’s organize gatherings from 13-2/2012, by 20.00 MEZ, at central railway station forecourts and show our solidarity with the social rebellion —today, not tomorrow.

The nationalist and racist resentments against Greece are unbearable. Politics, mass media and large misinformed parts of the German population fail and lie deliberately in their ‘analysis’ of the current state of the capitalist system. The effects of the Troika’s strangleholds are being trivialized, thus devaluing the justified protest.

In Athens and in many other cities, the resistance has now reached a new peak. We cannot leave the victims of the very capitalist system alone, nor allow that people are ripped off their human dignity. We must not fall into the trap of those in Power who want us to turn against each other in order to succeed in their plans.

We are left only with solidarity; otherwise the case of Greece will become a paradigm for us all.
The idea is that we start from today with protest actions, e.g. we should get together in public spaces. If we are enough people, spontaneous demonstrations could be held. But even with a few people, we can still attract attention, for example if we decide to distribute related leaflets or present a solidarity banner. There is no standard on how much people can conduct a successful campaign. It is not blind actionism to become active today. If we are honest, no anti-capitalist protest was fruitful here so far.

So, here is an improvised call to concentrate at central railway station forecourts to loudly and visibly show our solidarity; global solidarity with the social rebellion in Greece. Resist the capitalist conditions!

This call is not from any group or party. We raise our voices together, and there should be no spokesmen/spokeswomen.

From 13-2/2012, we gather by 20.00 MEZ at central railway station forecourts. Today is just the beginning. Let’s get started with a worldwide protest mobilization.

Solidarity is our weapon!
